Because of the fire, many cameras were pointed at the buildings when the explosion happened:

They lost the whole damned port.  Poor people, their hospitals were already full because of all the COVID-19 cases.

Here is a live camera on what is happening today:

Reminds me of the 1947 Texas City harbor explosion.

Sir Masksalot

Now is a good time to count our blessings while the world around us convulses with calamity.

The explosion had the force of at least 500 tons of TNT. The estimate was based on the widespread destruction, said the source, who has experience with military explosives. The blast caused carnage over a 6-mile radius and was felt more than 100 miles away. This issue has really proved that the world is not really as safe as you could expect and the explosion should not pass without accountability.

Welcome to the UMA, elisecoen !  :)

Somehow I suspect that elisecoen is a one-and-done drive-by shooting type of poster.

Looks like you were right.

Still, the point he made was valid.  There are so many more dangerous chemical plants situated too close areas of population.  Likewise storage facilities that warehouse huge quantities of hazardous materials and trains hauling volatile liquids and gases through the middle of towns.  Things are bound to happen from time to time.

No political point.  Just hard to handle the large amounts of risky materials modern society has come to depend on.

I agree. Her/his point is valid.

Nonetheless, joining this forum specifically to make a point unrelated to monsters does not constitute good faith behaviour in my book. I actually suspect that she/he is an employee of one of these troll farms financed by some government to sway public opinion.

She/he could of course prove me wrong by adding some good content to this board over the next few months but I'm not holding my breath.

You wouldn't think anybody would bother with this place when they could get a much better result from some place like Face Book.

I suspect that elisecoen was doing drive-by shooting in multiple places wherever he/she could.
