Creature from the Black Lagoon pink Luminators model.
When times are dark, don’t consider art to be merely a distraction; rather, think of it as a lifeline-  Neil Gaiman paraphrase.

  • I'm almost.....Human.

Yes! That would be awesome.  Or any color.

I would like silver screen edition 1:1 Wolfman, Phantom and Mummy to go with my Sideshow Dracula, Frankenstein and Creature. I'm still waiting for Sideshow to release the Black Heart Phantom in B&W.

Would you guys ever commission a sculptor to make said "monster toy that hasn't been made that you want to own before you die"?  If its something you'd always wanted I'd gladly pay top dollar to have the perfect one made just for me.

How have the monster PEZ never been re-made? It's crazy. considering there are as many PEZ as Funko POP's. I'm really surprised Funko or Super 7 or someone like that hasn't at least done a Con exclusive or something.

I was kind of considering making my own stuff and looked into molding and things like that, but it requires a bigger investment than I can commit to, right now.  (Just little things and one piece figurines.  Marx style.)

How have the monster PEZ never been re-made?

Because PEZ doesn't want to pay the licensing fees. They can make a lot more money from Star Wars and such.

Considering how popular PEZ is I've always been stumped why they don't have more licenses and why they don't produce more characters. You would think they would do a ton of DC and Marvel Comics characters. You look at those POP figures and all of the characters they've produced and think why doesn't Pez do that? Pez are in every grocery store I go to. I would go nuts if I saw PEZ of classic Marvel characters like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man villains, anything 1960-70s. Universal Monsters would be a no-brainer. Planet of the Apes, NFL football helmets, Bigfoot, Rocky...I could go on and on...lol

There were those 60's ones. I actually saw a set of them on display, two years ago when I went to a Pez museum (yes that exists).

I love the Super7 ReAction figures and agree with the previous suggestions of Renfield, Van Helsing and Abbott & Costello as Chick and Wilbur.

I would love to see them take on some other inventive lines including:

Stephen King Films - really want Barlow from Salem’s Lot
The Lost Boys
Fright Night
From Dusk Till Dawn

I just realized I want a lot of vampire and vampire killer action figures.
Can't argue with any of the above and The Monster squad would probably fit in nicely as well.

Ian
I second or third vote Kurt Barlow. Really thought that should have been made by now. Number one toy want.
Fright Night especially Evil Ed, Peter Vincent and Jery Dandridge
Lost Boys
Wheelchair Marty and the teddy bear werewolf or better yet patched eye reverend with wolfed out hands and fangs holding the Peacemaker bat from Silver Bullet
American Werewolf in London, beast and Jack. Beast came close saw a toy show figure here on UMA (a few years ago?) but sadly never got made. Best werewolf ever, Rick Baker is a superstar in my book.
A new UM lunchbox with all the classics (another sad close call that we nearly had)
Creepshow: the VHS or movie poster ticket booth skeleton 100% accurate and preferably in the ticket booth, heck the whole line up of monsters from Creepshow one and two such as Chief old Wooden Head, the hitchhiker, the black sludge victim girl, Jordy ooze plant dude, millionaire cockroaches spewing out of mouth and the magazine truck fiend (I did buy the crate beast, drowned pair, cake zombie etc. that came out not too long ago.)
The Zoltar Fortune Teller from BIG
Monster Squad: complete line up of good guys and monsters (my favorite version of Gillman, sorry Mike)
M night Shamallan's The Village, beast character
Betty Davis from Watcher in the Woods. Freaked me out when I was five still shudder decades later
The Bela Lugosi mask from Lady in White
Something Wicked This Way Comes: Mr. Dark, Tarantula lady, the boys and old dad
Addams family and Addams Family values actor likenesses
Interview with a Vampire movie: Lestat, Louis, Claudia and Armand
Vincent Price Fly with pop off fly head
Has the smiley guy from Mr. Sardonicus been done?
A Joseph (John) Merrick Elephant Man (don't judge me)
Abbott and Costello from meet Frankenstein
Glen Strange Frankenstein figure
Black Sabbath Boris Karloff
a book description accurate dracula, frankenstein, carmilla
