Now, for the first time ever, Campbell's full vision will be realized on the big screen. The new film will include the very best of RKO's THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD, John Carpenter's classic THE THING and both books, "Frozen Hell" and "Who Goes There?"

Exciting news! I just hope they can get the people to pull it off, especially the writer and director.

As with all such projects. I remain skeptical - but I live in hope they can pull it off without making it another way-too-fast-paced CGI cartoon.

If only they could only use the CGI to enhance physical effects - not replece them.
