R.I.P. Mr Haig. A few months ago, Sid Haig was one of the featured guest at Crypticon Kansas. He looked so frail. But, like a professional and legend, he sighed hundreds of autographs, met fans and was very kind.

I'm extremely saddened to hear this. Living in Simi Valley, I used to run into Sid regularly, he'd be in our local donut shop or even at the Post Office or the supermarket. He was always kind and friendly. When I'd see him at conventions I'd mention seeing him at the market and his standard reply was, "A man's gotta eat." I will miss him as will thousands of his fans and friends.
