I have a copy of the Planet Stories shown above. After seeing the post I dug it out. Thereís a small Fiction House  logo on the cover and  I always thought these were published by Fiction House.  However, the the copyright says Love Romances Publishing? I imagine they were a branch of Fiction House or visa versa. Anyone know for sure?
The two interior artists are Meilink and A. McWilliams. Iím not familiar with either of them. Are the names pen names? Anybody a pulp expert on this thread?

Love Romances was a subsidiary company of Fiction House.

Alden McWilliams and William Meilink are the artist's real names.

It's sad that much of the original artwork for these fantastic covers were destroyed many many decades ago.  Companies simply didn't have the room to store them all, and frankly, didn't realize the importance of such art.  Pulp covers are truly unique and in a category all their own.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity...
