I thought he was one of the best things about The Haunting of Hill House, so I'm fine with it. I hope the movie is good, and does well. I don't like all of their stuff, but I'd love to see what Blumhouse could do with some of the other Universal Monsters. I read that this is set in the modern day, which I'm not a huge fan of.

I think the Penny Dreadful TV show from a few years ago would be a great template for how they could make new Universal Monster films. I'd love to see something done in a similar style. At this point, I'll just take an adaptation that's not a complete embarrassment.

Mike...In 3-D!

I really, really liked him in Hill House, so Im definitely into this casting. Hopefully this kick off a new wave of movies featuring the classic monsters after the few false starts weve had.

Let's hope they are the classic monsters and not some new-age "re-imaginings."

They just released the synopsis, and it is a modern reimagining: http://collider.com/the-invisible-man-remake-plot-synopsis/.

Eh, I'll see how the trailers look, but I'm not that interested. I would have much rather them do faithful adaption of the movie/book.

That story actually sounds incredibly interesting, more Gothic Horror and Suspense in the traditional sense than anything we've seen from Universal in decades.  I'm actually interested in seeing more details about this one now.  I also like both lead actors: Mad Men and Hill House were great series.
