Thanks, AOF. I just backtracked and saw this. Feeling stupid.

Most Horrible

I prefer chat boards like this. Facebook you have to read constantly or scroll down forever PLUS irritating ads not to mention constant email...Yarg! This site is more my cup of tannis tea!

Gooooo UMA!

There's no doubt that Facebook is a cesspool. I have joined in on a few classic horror and sci fi groups on there and even then you can't escape the idiots.

UMA is a safe space. Long live UMA!

I am actually most active on Instagram, which has a pretty rad toy community.

I don't have an account on Instagram but I do agree it has a pretty active monster toy community with lot's of picture (obviously). My problem with Instagram (and it's a big problem) is that it isn't chronological in your feed. My entire purpose for using the platform (and I would imagine it would be others primary purpose in having social media - but apparently not) is to get recent updates in order of when they happen. For example, if Super 7 announces a Creature from the Black Lagoon beach towel I'd like to see it as they announce it rather than having it pop up in my feed 3 days later based on an algorithm making assumptions that I would want to see that 3 days after it was posted as opposed to when it was posted. I know people mindlessly drone through social media and passionately love or viciously attack what they see with absolutely no background or context, but that's not my thing. I like things in context and order. I like to form my own opinion based on facts rather than mob it up on social media. I strongly believe the more a person utilizes social media the less informed they are about reality, but you would never be able to convince them of that using facts because facts, truth and context don't matter in that arena.

In short, I hate social media, I think it's destroying lives and minds at a horrifying rate. Oh, and the forced Instagram algorithm is terrible but perfectly caters to an entire nation (and world) with zero attention span.

I wonder what you would consider lengthy, lol. do agree with every word you said, though.

"Where's everybody?" Every time I log in, there are plenty of people (but nobody posting). SAY SOMETHING, PEOPLE!  Why all the mutes?

Scrambled eggs with hot sauce are mighty tasty. In other news, look at this. It's going to be in my collection soon. I love it. I seldom get anything new, as I am out of room, and old and cranky. This, however...well, it had to be mine.

Congrats, buddy. That is one of the very best Wolfie sculpts ever. You, of all people, deserve it. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

I loves me some Wolfman, it's true. It's shipping tomorrow. Hopefully I will have it next Monday. Then, deciding on paint choices. I want the nametag to pop.

Make a thread in the model kit forum and a do a day-by-day update of your progress.  Make the Mord happy.  (Plus, I love seeing that stuff.)  ;D
