aura of foreboding

My collection is complete, all the ones I want sans Bride.  I can live without her.

These things are glued together.

Naturally, but I don't know why the Mole Man head had to be 2 pieces.

Undercuts in the sculpting require it. It would be impractical if not impossible to release it from a mold in one piece.

To print the eyes, the brow needed to be separate.

Hey Veil1, I usually don't go for cartoony/parody versions of the monsters. But I bought these. I thought they were adorable.  I hope to keep them back one day for a grand kid. To be their first intro to Universal Monsters toys. Hoping for another series!

Agreed.  These are exceptionally well-designed, such an improvement over the previous mystery mini designs, which I had collected, but ultimately sold off.  These I will never sell, because they are stunning.  They capture the characters in their eyes and in their poses.  So happy to bring them into my home, and I hope for more down the line.

Having done a lot of resin kits, and figures for DD, I have noticed this is done on a lot of things. I have seen some kits or busts where the bulk is one piece but sometimes ears, or even teeth, are cast separately... and have to be glued on. Guessing for the reason you mention with Mole People.

Where's your Mole Man?

Never got him and not paying eBay prices for him.  He's nice, but not eBay nice, at least in my book.  Phantom was essential because he's Rains.  Of course, Chaney would have been essential for me too, but this is like the first ever Rains figure.

Mole Man was the first one I bought. His fat little pudgy face made me take the plunge, lol.

I know!  I would have definitely been happy to get him in the blind boxes, but alas...  Spent too much money on them as it is.  Fortunately was able to sell off all but two doubles.

Mole Man is the one that continues to elude me. Gonna have to take that eBay plunge, I fear.
