Wolfman ties with Mole People for being the most ridiculous. Hate them.

I mean, you feel that way now. Are you sure you don't want to just buy them, open them, fiddle with them, confirm your feelings and then just return them? This is 'Merica! Nothing in Article I, Section 8, Clause 3 of the Constitution prohibits it. Nothing in the Uniform Commercial Code prohibits it. We all know Target will take anything back as long as it isn't completely destroyed (perhaps even if they didn't sell it). Maybe even post a few late night memes as you fiddle with the key chains in gleeful anticipation of returning them.  I don't see a downside. In fact, it's the only logical path to take.

Goodness. A complete stranger on the internet doesn't agree with my returning a product.  How shall I ever cope? The same person who picked a fight with Adam... and told him he reserves the right to hate him in the future. Who denounced a good portion of the board as negative when he came riding into town this year, to save us all from ourselves.  I get it. You're emotionally invested in the game. It offends your sensibilities that I am taking it back because you find it morally reprehensible. You'll be ok. The world will go on.  You'll see. Have a potato.

Don't do it.  It is our duty as loyal subjects of the Magnificent Manufacturers of America to consume whatever crap they produce and never complain or return shoddy product that doesn't live up to their overstated advertising.

What if everybody did that?  They might actually stop producing the crap that doesn't live up to their exaggerated promises or break shortly after purchase and lie useless in the closet until we can hold a garage sale and inflict it on an unsuspecting neighbor.

The board warned me that someone else had posted while I was typing, but I went ahead and posted mine anyway.

I can live with "a complete stranger on the Internet" hating me.  No problem.  Hell, people I know very well hate me - no skin off my ample nose.

There are billions of people in the world.  We can't expect all of them to make sense and act in their own interests.  There will always be corporate apologists.  I don't get it.  But that's just me.

I would like to formally apologize for getting some people’s Depends in a bunch. Perhaps someone at the customer service desk at Target can use some lightly used salad tongs somebody else returned to help you get them unbunched. Better yet, return the Depends while you’re there. I’m sure they’re not completely destroyed...

I ate mine - it helped a lot.

Kind of, I bought a big tub of potato salad at Target. I took a few bites, remembered I don’t even like potato salad, so I just put the lid back on and returned it.

And as I stated months ago, I still reserve the right to hate you should the need arise.

Wow, I log off, and the world comes apart. I'm offended by everyone's slighting of the noble potato. Don't you realize it once saved Ireland from famine? Not to mention being the inspiration for the adorable Mr. Potato-head. Shame on you all.

Temporarily.  It also plunged Ireland into another famine, when a single variety was imported from the New World to feed a grain poor populace - then that one variety got a fungus that devastated their crops.  Mid 1800's.

I stand corrected. I'm still very fond of potatoes as a food source. We're all cool with Mr. Potato-head, right? You've gotta give me that one.
