I don't ride skateboards and I don't find it all that interesting otherwise.

I have no love for skating or skateboards but that board is AWESOME! I almost want it (despite my contempt for its purpose).

Skateboards can indeed be works of art! I have a vintage Nash Shark skateboard very similar to the skateboard I had as a kid:



When the first generation of skateboards hit store shelves in the early 1960's, the boards were made of wood and the wheels were steel.

More recent boards that The WOMAN has been admiring since early this century are these wild Emily the Strange models:
