These photos fill me with nostalgia...which is weird because I was born in 1986.
The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed...

I spy a Ben Cooper Frankenstein's monster, that I own in my collection.

Here's a great photo of trick or treating from the 1950s that Freddie Poe unearthed:

Super cool photo. Reminds me of Hallowe'en 1972.

Here's Freddie Poe (on our right) and his buddy Jimmy M. with a scarecrow they'd built back in 1961:

The photo at the time made the front page of Worcester's Telegram & Gazette newspaper!

                                                                 Halloween, 1968

Looks like the same Frankenstein costume as the kid in the hospital bed - maybe that picture was from the same year.  The kid next to him has a homemade costume that gives him four legs, but no head - strange.

To the youngest members:  Note that the picture is dated "Dec. 1968".  That was the date added by the developer.  Back then, people had cameras that took 12-20 pictures on a roll of film.  Those pictures were taken sparingly and sometimes it took months to use up a complete roll.  Then the roll was taken to the local developer (usually a drug store) that would tell us to come back in 2 or 3 days to get our pictures.

Seems weird today.  But individual pictures cost money back then - and extra copies cost even more.  Film wasn't a thing to be wasted.

Looks like that might be a head down near his feet (hands). He's supposed to be walking on his hands, but it's not a well executed costume.

The costume or attempt of the aesthetic looks creepy.
