Finally gotten around to restoring this Aurora 1961 first issue Frankenstein 8).

When did those halt production?  There was a series of knights, too, I understand.  Did they last into the late '60s?

'Wonderful paint job, nice to see him again.
My first monster kit in the 60's when I lived in NY.
I remember adding dirty fingernails and blood on the hands.
'Like your choice of discolored fingernails and face bloodstains.
'Also a nice touch the grass is dirty in places, as I do laugh when
some fans make the grass like a pristine golf course, all healthy green grass.

When did those halt production?  There was a series of knights, too, I understand.  Did they last into the late '60s? 
Aurora's Official last run of its Monsters line 1/8 scale ended in 1972.Its Revival Monogram and Revell reissued it several times and then in the late 90's Polar Lights.But the very First run of Aurora monsters is always the best as the kit is more crisp and rich in its detail 8).
