I just watched Face of the Screaming Werewolf. Found it on You Tube. Imo, this was not a good film. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see Lon Chaney Jr playing both a Werewolf and a Mummy. I would say you really have to go out of your way to make a bad film if you and have Lon Chaney Jr playing a Werewolf and Mummy and it still is not good.

Also, why is the figure wearing a plaid flannel shirt? He wore what looked like a plain colored dress shirt in the film. I will probably still buy the figure. ;D

Maybe they got him confused with monster on Campus? He has ape hands and gorilla feet, lol. Monster on Campus DID wear a plaid shirt in the film's Climax. Dang....all someone needs is a head and this thing could BE Monster on Campus, lol. ;D ;D 8)

Nope.  They are just re-using clothes from whatever figures didn't sell the last time around.

Kind of a figure du jour.

So, he could have had Tootie's clothes? What a missed opportunity.

I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Went to Target today on the way back from a daytrip.  No Frank.  No Face of the Screaming Werewolf.

Would I buy Face of the Screaming Werewolf merchandise going forward?  Hell yeah!  Forget Universal at this point.  I wish lots more companies would give us "Classic Monster" lines with FOTS Werewolf and Mummy and Lugosi Dracula.  The only thing we actually need Uni for anymore is Creature merchandise.

Chaney Phantom and Red Death should also be Uni-free.

They have been hitting ebay fairly frequently the last little bit. Check completed auctions.

I checked out our Target again today. No Drac, Frank, or Werewolf. I asked a floor worker to check the system to see if there were any in the back and that came up empty as expected.

He said the Franks weren't even sold at that store and I told him about buying one there a few days ago to which he looked totally puzzled. The Target system is clueless. The Target workers are clueless. It's amazing that Target makes it so difficult for people to buy some of their products.  ::)

Yep.  That was a Target, alright.

Their only competition in the arena of cluelessness is Best Buy.

I really like the werewolf figure.

The flannel shirt looks good on him.

Scalpers are plying their trade on the Werewolf figure. A few have sold already on evilBay for in the $40-$50 range.  ::)

At 10K units the smart play is just be patient. I'm happy to buy one at $15 or less. Even though it's cheezy-cool to match the cheapass dreckish film it represents I don't think I would give more than $15 for one. And, I don't think I'll have to.

At 10K units the smart play is just be patient.

The math doesn't seem to be on the side of patience...
1800+ Target stores...
10,000 Megos each character...
Divides to 5.5 Megos per character per store.
Not counting the stock on their .com site...
This may account for buyers not finding
bloated displays of all the characters.
There just isn't enough to go around.
