Good day sir...I sold a Frankenstein for 250 and the Drac for 200 about 10 years ago. Both mint in box. Actually the markets been cool so those values prolly about the same now.

So did you buy them? If so, can you post pictures?

Unless I am very much mistaken, Ray Castille knows more about these than most. I don't know if he will see this thread or not. He is very informed on the more eclectic monster items than anyone I know of around these parts.

Hello. I love those porcelain dolls, but I'm in the minority. They don't sell well. You are fortunate if you get $200 or more out of them. Sometimes it's hard to get $100 out of Dracula. I see a loose one failed to sell for $99 in December. The Frankenstein used to be kind of a big deal, but he's not anymore. I don't know why these dolls are not in the $1K range, but they're just not that desirable. Don't pay more than $200 each, and try to get it closer to $125.

Truthfully I suspect that the initial poster is just another one of these philistines merely trying to get the highest price possible for an item he's found in which he has no interest.

I do my best to ignore their inquiries.
