Verne Langdon website
« on: September 06, 2018, 10:53:01 AM »
Hey, y'all! I noticed a fairly old post on here referencing a website for Verne Langdon:

You know, I think Verne Langdon's website has changed recently. Around six weeks ago I checked it, and he was selling CDs with prices clearly labeled and a link to order them. I was going to order the "Doctor Druid's Haunted Seance" CD for $25. Suddenly the web page has changed and now there are just pictures of the CD covers, but no links or prices to order them.

A friend of mine asked me last week if the "Evening with Boris Karloff" CD was a pressed CD or a burned CD-R, as he felt $25 was a great price for a pressed CD with artwork, but was a little high for a burned CD-R with photocopied artwork.

I have to think that maybe there were some customer complaints if they were CD-Rs, so the page was taken down. However, I don't know this for sure. Maybe somebody out there knows the real story behind this.

Just in case someone on here was interested in his work, I thought I should mention that the Electric Lemon site is gone, but there is a new site, www.vernelangdon.com that has info and a store, though the only CDs I see are 5-disc sets rather than individual titles. I don't see "An Evening with Boris Karloff" on there at all, however.

Apologies for resurrecting a post that's 8 years old; just wanted to put updated info out there.

The CDs are available singly, but An Evening With Boris Karloff doesn't show. To order the CDs click "Verne's Music" at the top of the page, then "Electric Lemon", then click the "Order Physical CD" for the ones you want. That will load them to a PayPal checkout page. The price for the CDs is $15 per, so the box set of 5 at $50 is a great deal.

They have items available not shown on the website like the Zombie Tiki Mug, Swizzle Sticks, Stickers, and Bottle Opener. Here's a pic of my VL Zombie stuff:

To inquire about the items not shown on the website email: salesvernelangdon(*at*)gmail.com

I love their products but they really need to update the website and make ordering a little clearer.

Wow, great VLZ stuff, horrorhunter!

Verne's vendors always have a great display at Monsterpalooza. I look forward to seeing them at next week's show.
