So are these related or unrelated to the EMCE Mego 8-inch figure line?

Related in that the main fellow behind EMCE, Paul Clarke, is the main fellow behind the new Mego as far as design and execution go. For instance, this Dracula is pretty much the likeness we would have gotten had Diamond worked out a deal with the Lugosi estate, according to Paul.

So where are we seeing any mention of Wave's 2 and 3?

Target has eighty (I think that's the number) Mego SKUs in their system which people have found by plugging increasing DPCI numbers in. As the info has come out, Paul has selectively commented, including confirmation of the Chaney Jr. Wolf Man and Frankenstein's Monster (and this has mostly been in facebook comments).

I hope this doesn't mean the Wolfman is going to look like the old EMCE version. That one was dreadful.

For the price, I thought it was awesome. But if they do a new one I hope the clothes are closer to Universal, and the face is a little less generic Wolfman..... and more Chaney Wolfman. 8)

Can anyone link to the list of Wave 2 and 3 figures according to SKU/DCPI numbers?  I'd love to know what other figures are coming.   ;)

Here you go, Oars for Boating...  If you want to know what the next wave of figures entails just head to the Mego Museum forum and check out the spoilers thread.

That's it.  I didn't want to link to it since the very mention of upcoming figures created a firestorm beyond belief over at that forum.  While trying to find the information, I went through threads with page after page of people blowing up because someone "leaked" this information before an official announcement.  Never had that experience at the UMA, but didn't want to poke the bear either...   ;D

Well reading through the above thread Blade Runner certainly caught my eye although seeing is believing with that double pack (and if you though Dracula was hard to get on release I think this one is going to be even harder). Apart from that it's only the two new monsters mentioned that excite me, just as well as I'm not up for collecting a lots of these but it would be nice if my Bela had some Mego mates with him on display  ;D
