Are there still tours of BLOB landmarks (besides the theater), like the Doctor's house, the high school entrance, the market and the diner? Not even sure what's still standing, or is the least bit recognizable? I think the market was completely remodeled as a different kind of business.
They DO have a few Blob-inspired items on the menu, though - I think that's pretty cool!
BLOBFEST returns to Phoenixville, centered around the Colonial Theater, 227 Bridge Street.. This year, Ricou Browning will be a featured guest for the showing of "The Creature From the Black Lagoon" in 3D Saturday afternoon. https://thecolonialtheatre.com/programs-categories/blobfest/
My daughter and one of my sons and I will be there on Saturday. We've been making this a tradition for the last 15 or so years.

Hey Chris, it was great meeting you and your wife. You are both so nice. Thank you so much for the blob soap! I'm also looking forward to putting the Frankenstein model together. Had another wonderful time at Blobfest. Mr. Lobo is so funny and he did a great job with spook show. We had lots of laughs! I always wish Blobfest could go on longer.
The highlight of the week-end for me was seeing how well Keith Almony (who played little Danny in the movie) is doing. He has Parkinson's, and when we saw him a few years ago he was in very bad shape. This year he was a thousand times better. He said the VA found a different medication that he's responded to very well. He also has deep faith and thanks God daily for the blessing of his improved health.
