The Blob is a testament of the actual item being far more important than any packaging. But I still kept the packaging, lol.

Started the Ro-man helmet today. The white disk in the helmet, held in with plasticine, will eventually be clear plastic once moulded so that you can see the skull/head inside. The window in the helmet is slightly oval.A pain in the butt to do.It looks quite big here but once the fur suit is on it will appear smaller.

Couldn't resist seeing how it looked with fur.I think it's showing potential :)  Need to make an under suit to pad him out in a few areas.I'm thinking of making him a little spandex body suit and then gluing foam to it and carve it to shape. Then a pattern can be made for the fur suit.Need to sculpt the chest, feet and hands.

I kinda like this B&W photo.Makes me want to make a B grade movie :)

Wow! I love it. Even more excited about it now. Also, how about including a certificate of authenticity with each figure? Perhaps numbered?

I always wanted a figure of the conquistador from "Giant from the Unknown". Thought I'd throw it out there.

Came back to look at Ro-Man again. It is amazing! Also took a second look at the Fly. Man, these are going to be astounding pieces.

Gab, I truly marvel at your skill and versatility with different medias and scales. Thank you for giving us these new pieces.

Hi Dr Wolfenstein! They all sound and look great! I didn't know anything about the Blob project, and just seeing these. How does one "help" with these? And as far as making a couple available for sale beyond what you make for yourself... VERY interested in a RoMan. Details?

Thanks and excited for you (and us?). Again not sure how we fit in. ;)

  Thanks for the comments VH.
What I mean by helping is for members to give their input on things like:
Design-How things should look. For example in The Blob thread I was originally going to make a silicone Blob inside a meteor container like the way silly putty comes then one member posted a pic from the film with the meteor in a crater with the Blob coming out.I liked the idea and went that way instead.Visually it looks better on display I think so that made the finished item better.Basically offer ideas on how you think things should look and I'll pick out what I like.
Accessories-For action figures maybe suggest some accessories you would like to see with the figure. With The Fly I'm adding an axe with the Without Warning alien I'm adding the little star shaped creature he throws at victims.
Toys-Eventuallly I want to make some non-action figure related items any input into these would be great.
Packaging-Would like to do some nice packaging for these figures and toys but I do lack the graphic designs skills so any help on that would be great.
Sourcing materials-Finding the right fabric for a figure can be quite hard I figure with a group of members searching a better and quicker product will result.I want to do a Carl Kolchak 1/6 scale figure one day but the hardest part is finding the right scaled down fabric.I found a small quantity on ebay but only enough to do a couple of figures.I know some companies will print fabrics now so I'm looking into that.
This thread was started so that members could join in and have some fun also because of the lack of monsters toys made today.I find it frustrating when something is announced and then disappears like the UM lunchbox.I'm not doing this for profit more than likely I'll loose money but I'm having a lot of fun and I like the idea of other members enjoying these toys.
I haven't worked out the price on these figures yet I'll let you know when I do.I'll put you on my list under no obligation of course. :)

The most important part of this thread is to have fun and let your imagination run wild.

 Not much of an update.
Made a quick copy of the figure I'll be using for the Without Warning figure using silicone putty.Thought it would be easier to get the size right when I sculpt the head.

Spent a couple of hours sculpting the skull for the Ro-man helmet and then realised it is too big to fit in the hole in the helmet.Doh! Will sculpt a smaller one.

  Primed the helmet.It's getting there.

Simple sculpting stands for current and future builds. :)
