I'd enjoy a "Value Set" of prints for $50.  I wanted them, but could not justify the price, as I don't generally collect art in the traditional sense.

Those prints are fantastic and the price point at $50 was a fantastic value. I wish they made them for all of the figures they’ve released. Problem is those were released at the Boodega in July 2018 and the mummy prints finally just sold out this week. For whatever reason people didn’t end up buying those beauties as you would expect. At a minimum I’d love Dracula, Wolfman, Phantom and Invisible Man.

When I bought my set after the SDCC 2018 they only had a couple of sets left. I never understood how they had additional Mummy prints laying around. I want more of the monsters but I also wish they released some of the Planet of the Apes art. I've seen where the artist Ed Repka has appeared at a couple of Chiller cons. I wonder if he sells any prints of his artwork there?

They were commissioned by Super 7 for their retail products so it’s unlikely Ed Repka can sell the prints himself.

FWIW on the Pen Plax Creature, I did notice after it was "sold out" it had become available again. Might be worth checking it out from time to time, you might get lucky.

I know the frenzy has been on the SDCC exclusives as of late, but has anyone heard anything about Series 3 with Son of Frankenstein, Ygor, Hunchback, Creature Walks, Werewolf of London, and Ardeth? I have had a bad feeling in my stomach that these were going to be canceled due to perceived lack of interest (even though a vintage Creature reference just sold out in hours)...

I too would like to know. Although Super7 always seems to stick to their word, even if they delay certain lines (IE the Soakies).

There's supposed to be a big monster thing in October.

Hey!
Thanks for the heads up about the Penplax Creech in the stores. San Diego had none, but San Francisco had a few left !
They still had a couple after I got mine this afternoon. So hurry if you want one hopefully it will work out.
Eric.

They should have had another one for this year's "SDCC".

I thought most of their stuff sells out pretty quick.

Wonder if any hang-ups might be due to lockdowns of workers and restrictions on shipments from China during the virus confusion?

I can't think of anything that they've shown and never released (Although I could be wrong and also i know we're still waiting on quite a few things), and it takes a fair amount of investment to get to the prototype and artwork stage, so I feel that these figures have a pretty good chance of being released.

That all said though, we are living in different times than when these were first announced which might make them look closer at their releases and the Uni Monsters seem to be a series that always stick around for a long time. I'm not sure if this is to do with them making more available than some of their other lines, but I felt with them announcing wave 3 that the other waves must have sold well enough. If you look at their toy line of The worst figures, there are very few left so these sell well, but it's impossible to know how many of those are getting made compared to the Uni monsters.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see, maybe it'll be an October drop or it will have to be pushed with delays right now.

They are for sure releasing wave 3 of the monsters.

The Worst series appears it’s selling out quicker because they make many fewer of each release but then release the same figure with different repaints. They do the same thing with Misfits, Nosferatu etc. With the monsters they aren’t doing repaints (yet anyway) other than the very limited con releases. They are making the bulk of them up front. I have noticed they’ve been sold out of Invisible Man for 5 months or so.

From what I understand they don’t plan on making more puzzles (even though the Creature recently sold out and the box lists other puzzles).

They were going to do a monster thing around NYCC but I don’t know that they’re doing anything now.

Hopefully Wave 3 comes out in Sept or Oct. Hopefully we get those Soakies soon.

That makes sense now you mention the repaints for more limited runs and the funny thing is that The Invisable man is the one figure I've seen the most of over here on the UK eBay.

They told me either last year or the year before they were going to come out October of that year but we never saw them.
