Sculpturally, it's rather crude but still effective, enough so
to scare the hell out of me in a dark fruit cellar!

I kind of agree. There are some things that could make this piece better. I wish the teeth had more sculptural separation instead of relying more on painting. Also, some of the painted detail is a bit rough. These things are more noticeable because my pics are extreme close ups in bright light. However, the piece is great. In regular or dim light and with a little distance, the piece is quite fantastic. If used on a full size prop with a rocking chair added. This would be quite terrifying. ;D

The B&W hides some flaws.  I like it.
