Frankenstein Garbage Can Question
« on: April 19, 2018, 06:05:21 AM »

I was talking with a freind re this garbage can recently and I recall it being around 24 inches tall. Online I see numerous sources say it is 16 inches tall. This seems way too shortt. Does anyone have one in their collection they can tell me the actual height of?

I've got a 13" oval Creature trash can and it's a normal sized one, for its type.

I measured mine for you.

The metal Cheinco Frankenstein Waste Can is 16" tall (a fraction of an inch taller with the plastic lid) and 8" in diameter.  It is ample for home office desk-side waste basket.

Try to get the flimsy plastic lid - usually missing:

And ask for a picture of the interior.  Most rust will be found in the seam around the bottom.

Thank you MFS!

I had one of these years ago in the 70's. I guess I remember it larger because I was smaller.

I thought mine was bigger, too.  I was surprised to find that it is only 16" tall.
