Classic Silver Age comic book writer Len Wein has passed at age 69. Wein was co-creator of Swamp Thing, Wolverine and many other classic characters. He was a collaborator with Dave Cockrum of the landmark relaunch of the X-Men in 1975, again developed new characters that have become central to the current series of film and comics. Over his career, he wrote for DC , Marvel and even Skywald and at Gold Key, where he worked on the Boris Karloff and Twilight zone series. http://www.avclub.com/r-i-p-len-wein-co-creator-of-wolverine-and-swamp-thin-1803111725

And he was one of the talented writers who, after the West Era, gave us back The Batman.

Had the honor of meeting him once.

Rest well.
