The Wolfman 1941 (Black & White)
« on: August 12, 2017, 04:36:22 PM »
Wanted to do a series of the Universal Monsters in the Grayscale (Black and White) palette, so started off with The Wolfman, using various lighting techniques, etc. Got some inspiration from StyreneDude :)1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr1941 Wolfman by Dan Fuller, on Flickr

Very nice, Scale75 do a really nice set of paints for painting in monochrome. Wish I'd had them when I was painting my Frankenstein bust, ended up selling it because I couldn't settle on a colour for his skin, biggest mistake I ever made. I know who bought it though, so, one day, I may try and buy it back.

CHEERS!

I don't think you could get anymore accurate than this. It looks like it is a still right out of the movie.

Looking at this again, the shot with the blue lighting is awesome.

Gorgeous!

I don't normally go in for ones that are painted in black and white, but this is irresistible

Really nice job

Thx again, gents. This Silver Screen finish is a very popular trend right now among my client base.
