I'm truly aghast the Weird-ohs slipped by me somehow. It seems like every spare nickle I had went for the Topps "Batman" bubblegum cards in 1966. But I'm sure I could have found a few more for some "Weird-ohs'.

And I'm sure that you could still have found a number of Weird-Oh kits here and there on the dusty shelves of hobby shops and similar outlets. And Wade A. Minut and Sling Rave Curvette were really inexpensive compared to Aurora and Revell figure kits.

Now that you mention Aurora, (I'm not trying to derail the "Weird-Ohs" thread), In the mid sixties some time I had a Superman model breaking through a brick wall, the Mummy, and Frankenstein. I thought they were really great, very realistic models. Has anyone seen those before..?

Ahhhhh, yeah. I'd venture to say that we all have and many times.

I take it that you've not checked out any of the many threads in this forum on Aurora kits. You might start with these two for an overview:

Well, I certainly spoke too soon.  I'm still going through all those pages. That's quite an Aurora collection there..!  It's great to see all those classic models from the sixties.  98 cents.  Now I know to search before talk..........
