My favourite Ben Cooper superhero costume is probably this one:

It's not any better designed/executed than the others, but the Fly is such a semi-obscure character that I have to give Ben Cooper kudos for doing a Fly costume!

Here's perhaps my very favourite Ben Cooper costume of them all:

The mask though sports strange teeth for a cat.

Ben Cooper's She-Hulk masks portrays her on a bad hair day, a really bad hair day!

Here she is in her full glory as rendered by John Byrne:

The Ben Cooper Astro Spook Halloween costume is among the most storied Halloween costumes of them all, particularly among us UMAers!

Here's a boxed one from Raycastile's collection:

And here are pictures of the one from the fabled collection of Freddie Poe:

So this one's different.

Obviously, nearly every main character of the original Star Wars movies got a costume. R2-D2 is rather not someone you'd expect to translate into the shape of a human body, but here we are.

To me the appeal of these Ben Cooper and Collegeville costumes arises from the following factors:

1. I remember them hanging from the ceiling at the Kresge store in downtown London in the early sixties.

Ahhh... Kresge's.  One of my childhood paradises.  We had one here in NJ.  I remember the costumes displayed as you speak as well as the Aurora Models they sold.  GREAT store.  Never left without something.

Ben Cooper originally issued a Wolfman costume in a comparatively staid generic company box:

The costume though was beautifully gaudy:

The box for the Wolfman costume was eventually pimped up quite nicely though:
