I concur. DD discussing things like a John Carradine Dracula in 1/6 makes my "interest barometer" tick up several readings. Martin coming back around to chat is awesome. It's one of the things I like/liked most about DD.... and the time I spent slinging paint for him. The conversation. The enthusiasm. The insider info being shared. Ideas for figures we would like to see. Sharing interest in the hobby that brought us all here to this place. Real life issues have been getting to me a bit. I haven't been as enthusiastic about my collecting as I have been in the past. At the very time I could use a bit of good old fashioned "monster kid"-ness, focus and interest have waned a tad bit. Primarily because I feel that I am spread so thin these days, lol. I am hoping DD can change that. No one else seems to be bringing anything of note out save for a few smattering of items here and there. Mezco's Myers/Halloween 1:12 certainly has a wow factor.....but there isn't exactly a ton of stuff coming from any other venue. Apparently we need another Monster Craze of the 1960's. Anxiously awaiting whatever information/conversation Martin chooses to share here. Like a traveler through a desert searching for a refreshing oasis.
It is the enthusiasm that brings to life future horror figures. Also when these lifelike figures are up for preorder it's only about proximately 4 weeks that they are shipped out, not like other manufacturers a year. So our anticipation is filled quickly and another happy customer😀
T-MINUS 7 DAYS..............
All orders were shipped between Tuesday and Friday but guessing Labor Day may slow some down. But all will be with you soon
