NECA Batman vs Joker Alien 2 pack

Coming in July from NECA is this 2 figure set. Not that big on the Alien, but the Batman sculpt is fantastic. One of the best I have seen. The pins in the shoulders are a bit distracting, but not too bad. Here is the link and a pic of Batman.

Yes, I would say like 99% of the NECA stuff is of the highest caliber. The sculpts are Incredible. Speaking of incredible sculpts. We need to mention, Mezco. They have upped their game to the point of mastery. The Hellraiser  lll 1/6 Pinhead figure is astounding. Also, their whole new 1:12 line is a brand new step in that scale . 1/6 accuracy in a 1:12 scale, incredible.

I'm very impressed with this Batman as well, but similarly not to high on the Joker Alien. I've been digging the scaled down Quarter Scale to 7 inch figures they've done, but none have appealed to be as much as this comic styled Bats. Reminds me of some older DC Direct figures, with he quality control potential to be wayyyyy higher then what's being produced now.

Just received an email from Big Bad Toy store that this item has been pushed up from the 4th quarter of 2017 to the 4th quarter of 2018. Now we have to wait a year to get this. Once again, companies show us items and don't release them until 1 or 2 plus years. Its very disappointing.

I didn't know they did a Batman vs. Alien comic. I hope they do Batman vs. Predator, as that was a very cool comic storyline, especially the armored Batsuit he wore to defeat the Predator.

....but of course. Welcome to the world of the NECA Planet of the Apes collector. I supported everything they did. Then the lasst wave was TRU/convention exclusive. Fortunately I was close to a TRU and got my final apes. Collecting can be a pain sometimes,lol.
