I was fortunate enough to be present at this well-attended exhibition >



There was much of interest to collectors of both vintage and current masks, including nifty flatwork art >

      
 
Three major mask producers were represented, including an entire wall devoted to Distortions Unlimited >

      

Staring them down from the opposite wall were older characters from Be Something Studios >

     

'Classics from Don Post Studios? Well, they were everywhere in-between >

            

The remaining space was filled with the fine work of independent mask makers >











It was high time the American-style Halloween mask be recognized for its inherent artistry. I hope we haven't seen the last of such tributes.
