Really, the nice heavy box is so pretty, I almost hate to throw it out.
Why would you throw it out?
All my movies are in 7mm slimline cases.
Oh yeah, I forgot.
I consider my DVDs and Blu-rays collectibles so I keep all original packaging. The only things I toss are the shrink-wraps. Honestly, I had as soon throw away vintage toy packaging as to discard original DVD/BD packaging. To me it's integral to the piece, above and beyond the digital contents. Not disrespecting anyone else's choices. Just stating mine.
We go really old-school (back to the 40s, in fact) this winter with the release of THE RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE featuring the original Dracula himself, Bela Legosi! This blood-thirsty classic rises on Blu-ray February 19th.In 1918, Armand Tesla (Bela Lugosi), a 200-year-old Hungarian Vampire, prowls the English countryside, feeding from the jugulars of the villagers. But Tesla's reign of terror is interrupted when a pair of scientists, Lady Jane (Frieda Inescort) and Sir John Ainsley (Roland Varno), drive a railroad spike through his heart. The "un-dead" Tesla remains safely entombed for two decades until the impact from a stray Nazi bomb accidentally releases him. Along with his werewolf servant Andreas Obry (Matt Willis), the resurrected vampire now plots vengeance on the family that put a halt to his nocturnal feasting.Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date.Pre-order THE RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE now (*at*) https://www.shoutfactory.com/product/the-return-of-the-vampire?product_id=6980
I considered starting a new thread about this very subject.I toss every carboard sleeve. to me they are pointless space-wasters. If I had saved them all I would have at least 1000. That's one thickness for each side, plus that double on the side where it was glued. That's thicker than 6 reams of printer paper. I can squeeze in a lot of 7mm DVD cases on that much shelf width and I need every inch I can get. I hate metal cases.I see there are people on eBay who sell nothing but cardboard sleeves. So, I figured there would be many who disagree.
