So, can Doctor X be far behind?

I'm VERY excited about this. This is the movie that made me fall in love with Glenda Farrell and get into the Torchy Blane series.

Sounds dull.  Mord wants to know if there is any nudity?

Brief, silhouetted at dusk - and from too far away.

Some bikinis.

Coming from Shout Factory ...   ...  March 10.2020:

Extras in progress for these films to be announced later.

I got a BAD feeling about this one.

It's scheduled release date was moved to May 26 and announced several places.  Amazon was taking pre-orders.  My source told me things were proceeding as might be expected.

But it was never listed on Shout/Scream's site and now Amazon is acting like it never existed.  When I check on the status of my pre-order, I find it still included.  But when I click on the item itself, I get a message that "This page does not exist  Try Amazon's Home Page".  When I do, I find no hint about any BLU-Ray.

I got a really bad feeling about this one.

Same thing happens to me with my Amazon pre-order. What a shame. I love this flick and was really looking forward to the Blu-Ray.

I found it [Day the World Ended - BLU-Ray] listed on the Best Buy site.  They have it listed with an August 18, 2020 release date.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/the-day-the-world-ended-blu-ray-1956/34852739.p?skuId=34852739

That explains some of the confusion.  Conditions have caused a delay again.  No surprise there.  It doesn't explain why Amazon has not revised the release date, or sent out their regular e-mail announcing a revised expected delivery for pre-orders, like they normally do.  At least they haven't cancelled my order.

I think we are going to have to expect a lot of this thing in the near future.  I knew we had a lot of what we buy made in China.  I just never knew how much, until I read an article listing products that will be affected.  Even many "Made In America" products should be listed as "Assembled In America" since so many components are actually manufactured in other countries.

Mexico has been having its own coronavirus problems.  Some manufacturers have had to shut down.  Lots of DVD's are assembled by our neighbors to the south - maybe that could be the problem?

AH!  Border closures and heightened restrictions may be preventing the product getting in!

I just published a new article highlighting some of my favorite recent, obscure monster movie Blu ray releases on the America Halloween and Louisville Halloween websites. I appreciate as many clicks as possible. Generally speaking, I don't get  a lot of attention talking about movies due to all the white noise blog critics out there, so any help is appreciated.
