Here are some pics I lifted off the net of the Monster Print Putty set released by Colorforms in 1964:

The booklet by itself:

A couple of the inside pages:

Unbelievably cool! But the Colorforms Monster Print Putty just never gets the respect from collectors that it deserves.

That Turtle Monster is the coolest! Hammer Studios should have licenced him for a flick and cast him opposite Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Ingrid Pitt and Madeline Smith. Day of the Terrapin! We'd all be demanding it be released on Blu-ray today.

Hmmmm, I'd say you have it backward. Gamera appears to be based on the Colorform's turtle since Daiei Film's Gamera, the Giant Monster flick didn't come out until 1965.

Here anyway are a couple of good action shots of Gamera:

Mani-Yack released multifold series of stickers and iron-on transfers in the 1960's:

An early series was this one entitled Famous Movie Monsters from 1964:

Mike Scott has indicated that the monster heads at the bottom of these cards were also the ones on the Monstertoons transfer set.

That top photo is all new stuff being done by one of our members (though I can't remember who).
