Imperial released a very interesting set of Universal Monster themed pogs with Slammer Whammers in 1994-95:...

The U.K. issued this special Brass Frankenstein Slammer - not available in the U.S.

Not a sci-fi collectible. But....Out of sight!

If ECLIPSO is hero and villain in one, why doesn't he just fight himself?

That's exactly what he does, every issue! Bruce Gordon from whom Eclipso emerges works to thwart Eclipso's evil machinations by reabsorbing Eclipso into his own self in every story. Compelling drama!

On a couple of the covers it sounds like Ra-Man is going to fight him.

Prince Ra-Man was the reincorporated Mark Merlin and was the co-feature in House of Secrets with Eclipso at the time. In most issues they each had a separate story but in issues #76 and #79 they crossed over into the same story to face each other.

Prince Ra-Man should be a villain made entirely of noodles.

That Pinball machine is preeeeettty metal.  I just saw a Universal Monsters one that was brand new (to me) the other day.  Pinball machines never cease to have something interesting you haven't seen before.

Was it this Monster Bash pinball machine that Williams released in July 1998?

Here's the promo video:
