That really is truly magnificent!

Thanks for passing on the thread Mike, great read and although I'm sure I'll never find one for sale (let alone be able to afford it), but it's nice to know this thing exists in the world.

Check out this fabulous SPP monster binder from 1963:

Here is another example that recently sold on eBay for $202.00:

I never knew these existed before that auction.  They must be scarce.

Vintage Halloween candy boxes are so cool I'll have to start collecting them one of these years!

Check out these Halloween signs!

Can you imagine getting a little bottle of Coke while trick or treating? How cool would that have been?

I've come to appreciate the box art and sculpt of the Aurora Phantom of the Opera model kit, the Marx Phantom sculpt and the SPP Phantom wallet art more and more over the last few years. The Phantom of the Opera has accordingly moved up dramatically in my monster popularity rankings.

As a result, this nifty Ben Cooper mask and costume now has a place way up high in my Halloween costume rotation:

It might very well be the one I choose for the big night in 2018.

I like the Ben Cooper Phantom costume, too. I actually took the photo of the Phantom mask in the middle with the black background that you posted above. I don't have the complete costume, though, just the mask.

Occasionally, this costume shows-up on eBAY. I have placed a bid once or twice, and never won the auction.

Before plastic Halloween buckets arrived on the scene, the coolest way to trick or treat was with a shopping bag featuring Halloween graphics. Here are pics of a couple:
