I took in The Horror of Party Beach at the Victoria Cinema on Clarence Street in downtown London at the time of its initial release in 1964:

The Victoria was a classic low-end of the market grind-house in which kids flung empty popcorn boxes from the upper balcony much to the dismay of the ushers. It lasted until around 1970 before it succumbed to the forces of modernization/redevelopment.

I don't remember The Horror of Party Beach being part of a double feature though!

Maybe The Curse of the Living Corpse was added as a second feature for drive-in showings.

Here's a scan of my Warren magazine devoted to the flick anyway:

No. Both versions had both a change purse and the cards. The change purse is buried under the cards in the top picture

Oh, OK!

Aurora's Forgotten Prisoner of Castel-Maré with box art by the fabled Mort Kunstler is among the very top model kits of all-time!

Here are a few build-ups of the Forgotten Prisoner kit. The first one is by RedKing:

The second by Universal Steve:

A third by Propman:

Fourth a high quality job by Jim Bertges that's everything a professionally built and painted kit should be:

The same kit with flash:

And then an absolutely awesome eye-popping one done by Witch Hunter with neon black-light paint:

Finally a very nice looking buildup by Cerebus:

How many different Forgotten Prisoner kits are there? I see at least 3 in that bunch.

Well....

Aurora original
Aurora Frightening Lightning
Aurora Glow-in-the Dark
Polar Lights
Aurora reissue

I'm not sure how the parts of any of these variants would differ one from another though.

At least one is the  1/7 scale Aurora Box Art tribute series sculpted by Jeff Yagher and produced by Monsters in Motion. They are about 15" tall if I remember correctly.

Sorry! I meant different sculpts. I can't tell if the fig. is different, but the base/bkgnd is completely different in 2 of these photos.

I dig this....
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

I haven't seen these comics Hepcat so thanks for sharing (as well as everything else on this thread, always something else new for me).

It's funny reading the title of this comic and I suddenly remembered an old series I used to watch growing up in the UK with the same name. It was a great series with a kind of horror slant to each episode as I remember it. One that really stuck in my mind was called something like Blood Birthday and was a kids Birthday party that all the pipes in the room started creaking and then burst, covering everyone in blood! I was pretty young at the time and can't really remember any details about it but some of the images have stuck with me to this day.

This one then:

Tales of the Unexpected TV series

 :)

That's the one!

I've looked through the list of episodes and can't seem to finds the one I mentioned so I've no idea what the name of it was. I did find this one though which was another big one growing up -

It's worth looking at if only to hear the title music, this used to fill me with dread every time it came on.

After a little more searching it turns out the episode I was thinking of was from another series from 1980 called Hammer House of Horror and the episode was called The House that Bled.

I can't find the episode but here's a clip of the ending (with some gentle music put over it for some reason?!) -

At nine years old this really did have an effect on me!
