A toy that has always stuck in my memory, the Purple People Eater game! (I remember I usually never bothered playing the game but used it as a puppet instead!).

'Rude Ralph' was a lifesize head in the vein of Madballs. You pulled out his eye which was attached by a pull cord and he made a gross gurgling/burping sound. I absolutely loved this toy and was devastated when my spoiled, brat cousins visited one day and one of them broke the eye mechanism by swinging him around by said eyeball!

The orange moon almost makes it a great Halloween cover but the month is wrong.

Oh man! So often a toy doesn't live up to the box art/graphics but that one sure does!

'FORTRESS OF FANGS' was a Dungeons & Dragons playset that was packed full of trip falls and hidden passages....this ticked every box for me as a boy. It came with the large winged creature figure. I had hours of fun with this beauty and I managed to pick one up (unboxed) off ebay a couple of years back.

A shot of the base/lower dungeon decals...note the forgotten prisoner!

Here I am (on the right) with my brother and my prized possession!

I agree-those House of Secrets covers are great-- love the Dillin/Moldoff art, every cover shown is a winner.  These are only a few from your collection, Hepcat?  You have more? (hint, hint )

Love this play set although I've never owned one. I did have some of the figures though growing up and put together a complete set of series one a few years back, such great sculpts!

That photo of you as a child is priceless as well and I noticed the Rancor straight away but then noticed that you have both Skeletor and the Emperor managing things in the fortress, nice!  :D

There's a Bib Fortuna and Jabba figure hiding in the pic too! Yes the figures were excellent, I've often had a look on ebay for them. I had this Dragon at the same time I owned the playset...

Well I like to mix things up in this thread, but since you asked so nicely here are scans of six more of my House of Secrets comics:
