I was hoping they would do something about his hairline. As nice as the likeness is, they messed up big-time on the hair. I need to see this in person before I can make a decision.

I asked Mezco about the color version on Facebook.  This was the conversation:

Me:  Will there be a color version of Frankenstein available later?

Mezco:  There will indeed, but the details are still being worked out

Good enough for me.  Wait, I shall.
I asked too and received this reply:

"You bet, but the details around the release are still in the works."

Same for me as well so at least we all know it's coming.....it's just when?!

Fair price, looks amazing. I will order.

I think this looks absolutely incredible! I'm glad they're doing the black & white version for sure. I have a problem with the green used on most Frankenstein figures. The color pix of this piece that were first posted were too "St. Patrick's Day-looking" for me. This looks more authentic (just like the film). There are a ZILLION Karloff Frankenstein action figures out there, but they all pale in comparison.

I don't think the hairline is to far off these images

Hair isn't stationary and can move from scene to scene/action to action or of course be affected by outside sources (i.e., wind, water)

There is supposed to be some spacing on the hairline. This figure does not do that. It's pretty obvious if you compare them side by side. Still a very nice figure though.

Who are you kidding? Yours will never leave its plastic prison, lol. However...if JP is bugged too much by his....I will be more than happy to fix his hairline for him. Provided he pays shipping to and from. I will pay forward the favor for one done for me recently.

The box is "collector friendly". Even I might take it out for a change of head or two.

I am currently praying to the plastic gods for a Creature in this series

Much appreciated Anton. Even though I think the figure is very nice, I have a few other things in the pipeline I want to acquire first. I can always get this on the secondary market if need be.
