Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983)

I saw this Bradbury adaptation when it first showed in a small mall theater in Chattaboogie. It's pretty tame compared to most of the contemporary Horror that I had seen but I really enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and sense of wonder conveyed by the film. Jonathan Pryce is cool as Mr. Dark, and Jason Robards is always good. Fun flick.

What a vast wealth of valuable information! Thank you for sharing such a charming little anecdote.  I like the film, too. It doesn't need overt violence and graphic killings to be a good horror flick. Jonathan Pryce is  very underrated, imo. He always elevates the quality of the film (and he made a decent Bond villain, too).

Destroy All Monsters (1968) French poster:

The French might have been a little out of touch with Toho Monsterdom.

Still a cool poster, and an interesting look at the way a European artist saw Japanese Kaiju (looks like he was stuck on King Kong Vs.Godzilla from 6 years before, and saw The Big G as a T-Rex  ;D).
