See these and other baked goods at Walmart's around here. But none of them have "on premises" bakeries. Who is baking these for Walmart ? (And the stores here are filthy, messy,  and are in the worst neighborhoods ).

All I know is, it's a WM product. Our WM has a bakery/deli. I just assumed they made them. If not, then they truck them in from somewhere.

I tried the Little Debbie Pumpkin Rolls and Bat Brownies.  I can't recommend them.  I wouldn't even put them in a kid's school lunch, although he was making a fuss.  The Pumpkin Rolls were filled with way to sweet icing and the Brownies were like year-old fruit cake.

I think the Walmart cream cheese filled Pumpkin Roll looks pretty good.  But I'll want to employee a knife and fork when consuming mine.

As a kid, I hated Easter.   What a waste of a holiday.  It always came on a Sunday, so we didn't even get a day off from school; the candy was cheaply made; the chocolate was waxy and your basket was stuffed with worthless imitation grass and these inexpensive little space-fillers.

But, for those of you who might actually like them:

Marshmallow Spooky Cats - from Peeps

Candy Corn Marshmallow Delights Chicks - from Peeps

Caramel Apple Marshmallow Delights Chicks - from Peeps

Pumpkin Spice Latte Marshmallow Delights Chicks - from Peeps

Here's something I think is brand new for 2017:

Oreo Egg - from Cadbury  - -  Crème filled egg with cookie pieces

Sold by Walgreens & Dollar General stores.

Oreo Egg - from Cadbury - UK Version

For our British members.  (We do have a couple, don't we?)

I think these might be worth  a try.

I tried that last year.

I thought it was way too sweet - couldn't taste the cheesy part.

Wow.  I could never pinpoint exactly what I didn't like about Easter candy, but I think you've nailed it here.  It tasted weird.  Now that we have Hershey's Easter candy, it's not too bad, but the stuff from the old days... Ugh.
