My local DAISO store had this cool set of three little die-cut haunted houses for Halloween!

Do they come in different flavours? Are they really tasty?

So today at Loblaws I bought a box of Boo Berry:

Plus a Jumbo box of Lucky Charms with Magical Unicorns for good measure:

I'm not sure whether the Lucky Charms are Halloweeny enough but I know I'll find them delicious!

Star Trek Holo-ween comics by Ian McLean, on Flickr

This week, a new IDW four-issue comic mini-series, “Star Trek: Holo-ween” began! Written by my pal, horror writer, Christopher Sequeira of Australia! There will be some great alternate covers and I have already spotted some Andorians inside!

The best thing is that the issues of this story will be arriving weekly for the spooky month of October. Covers by Francesco Francavilla and Joe Eisma.

Thiptho lapth,

Regards, Ian.

I disagree. The best thing is that they're edible which is a long due innovation for comic mags.

I've actually seen these in all six colours of the rainbow with various eye and mouth combinations. The same cakes should also be available at Canadian Safeway supermarkets.

Wasn't it Maurice Sendak who received a fan letter from a parent who said that the child loved the book, "Where the Wild Things Are", so much that he ate it?

I guess I owe you some Halloween food now:
