If you have a Michaels store in your area they have Halloween crafts and supplies in stock already. They have some really nice stuff but this guy is what really caught my eye. He's 8" tall and is very heavy. You can see by the bottom shot just how thick this guy is. The intention is to put some type of light inside and his eyes will glow. A battery powered colored LED would be perfect. For $12.99 I think he's a bargain. I used a couple of LED plastic ice cubes that I had (don't ask) and put them inside. I took a quick photo in low light just to give an idea of how cool this guy would look if done up right with a nice paint job. UMA artist types should be able to make him look great! I'll get around to painting mine sometime but for now I'm glad to have nabbed one.

Hey, not bad for a non-licensed piece. Cool look with the lights.

Yeah, he's a generic Frankie but he's got a fun Halloween vibe about him. I also like the fact that he doesn't have that silly kiddie look to him that a lot of holiday Frankie decorations have now a days.

I believe I saw these a year or 2 ago at Michaels. I remember thinking that it was better than their usual stuff and was impressed with the sculpt.

Yeah, he would probably look really good with a subtle paint job. I would paint over the existing scar and paint a new one where it really belongs.

It's plaster! You can just sand off the old one and carve a new one.

If so inclined you could also sand/grind off the electrodes, make new ones out of actual bolts, drill the appropriate size holes in his neck and voila!

I dunno, I think he's fun as-is.  This would a fun challenge to see how realistically it could be painted, to try and make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, as it were. And the light-up eyeballs are cute, too, though I wonder what ping pong balls with painted irises would look like...?
I build, therefore I am.

You know I came to the same conclusion as well. I'm going to paint him up as is.

Plus he's saying it's made out of resin.
