I'm guessing they didn't get enough pre-orders to go into production on it.

The Monstarz figures are made by Executive Replicas. They have announced countless figures that have never gone into production. Don't completely give up hope, though. The Karloff Black Cat figure was announced years ago and was finally released last year (along with a Bela companion piece). That got made with the help of Kirk Hammett. If Kirk's a big Re-Animator fan, we may see these yet.

A word about Amok Time offerings:

Amok Time first listed this figure for pre-order at about $115 or $120 in 2010.

I sat on a waiting list for 2 years before they dumped all their pre-orders when they "updated their computer system".  Didn't tell anyone, just did it.

Price has been periodically increased and they finally stopped giving expected shipping dates.  But it is STILL listed in their current catalog as a pre-order item!

Price has climbed to $300.  But that doesn't mater much.  No one expects it to ever happen, anyway.
