Yes, even for a reissue, that is the lowest price I have seen. Once in a while these come up pre built and painted, I have seen a few noce ones. However, about half of them have poor paint jobs. thm
Thanks for the info, Glenn. Unfortunately, I got mine when they first came out at twice the price. I plan on painting all my kits whenever I retire (if I'm still alive to enjoy it).
If I do wind up building/painting mine I'm going to go for a 60's monster kid style paint job. Clean and simple.
Make sure to post pics when done. Have you painted other items? Anything you would like to show?thm
The only model painting I've done since I was a kid was a touch up on an Aurora/Monogram Frankenstein re-issue that I have pics of in this thread.http://www.universalmonsterarmy.com/forum/index.php?topic=27346.0I think I can do a nice clean simple paint job but nothing fancy like Dirtyhorse and the other pros here.
Oh ya, I remember that one. Nice job. I used to do art projects. However, trying to get things right was causing me stress lol so I sort of gave it up.thm
Looks like the seller restocked. They sold the first 10 available and now it shows 10 available again.
At one time this was THE in demand collectible from the sixties. I really wouldn't have thought Moebius would have trouble selling these. Before the reissue, I had seen a mint in the box one for $3,000. I think the Moebius version is an excellent substitute for the original (right down to the James Bama box art).
