Anyone know if these Ideal Mini Monsters were sold in boxes?
« on: December 13, 2008, 10:05:27 AM »
As much as I see these I don't think I've ever seen their packaging. Anybody know exactly how these were sold in regards to packaging? While I'm here, I'd like to wish everybody here a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Not sure if these came in boxes or not. I would think so. That's a minty set of mini monsters BTW. Did you score these Robert?

That is a nice set, Robert.  The Dracky is missing his little doctor forehead mirror thing, but otherwise complete.  The shoe color is correct on all of them and they have everything else.

My Wolfy is missing his books.  Someday....

Of course .. now I remember the boxes. Duh.

Hey Bobby, that is a cool looking sales flyer. Haven't seen that before. Do you have that in a big resolution? I'd like to print myself a copy.

That's not a flyer, that's the back of the box.  It came from Raymond's Monster Toy Gallery.  If anyone has a high res scan of it, it's going to be him.  If someone has the box, a 300dpi scan of it would be nice.

That is one sweet box Bobby. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I browse the galleries quite often but somehow this got past me.
I can always count on Bobby though to come through with the answer. Bravo! And Terry, it's not my set, their a tad before my time but that's not saying that I wouldn't love to own them, boxed of course.

The Ideal Mini Monsters have a notorious background. Here is the untold story of Dr. Dracky and Ms. Vampy.

Back in 1965 Dr. Dracky was charged with a malpractice lawsuit stemming from an improper examination of Ms. Vampy. What was supposed to be a routine physical turned nasty when Dr. Dracky insisted on performing a breast exam even though Ms. Vampy had already had one two months earlier. The trial took place and Dr. Dracky was charged with medical malpractice. He lost everything including his own shoes. That is why so many of these Dracky's found on eBay are missing their shoes. It is a beaten down and out figure who made some terrible choices in his life.

Wait until you hear the untold story of Wolfy! Stay tuned .. you won't want to miss this!

Does somebody own that MIB Woofy?

Poor Vampy!  I just knew Dracky had that evil look in his eyes for some reason!
