VTTBOTS Sears Wishbook ads:1966:
That's a beautiful box. Those decorated box MIB VTTBOTS sets are often priced at extremely high levels on eBay. For that matter all Remco VTTBOTS and Hamilton's Invaders toys seem to be priced VERY high, even some of the damaged pieces. I can see the nice condition ones being worth a lot (as in hundreds but NOT thousands of $), but not some of the damaged pieces that some sellers ask ridiculous prices for. I'm just glad I scored some decent Remco HI and VTTBOTS sets and pieces when I did. I wouldn't want to shell out for those now.
Here is a pic of a hard set to find , it combines the Seaview set with the Explorer set....
I could go to any toy dealer and get a hamiltons Invaders boxed set in the $25 range for almost any one The big cave set with everything was $50-$75 , Voyage items were on the average higher $30-50 for the sea scout set and $75 for the seaview....Boy oh Boy have prices changed and well above the inflation rate.
Here are some new snapshots of my never played Milton Bradley Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea board game:
