Its not paint but more like red felt bottom .

Oh! Still, seems like a finishing touch.

I would imagine these were pre-painted if sold at Disneyland.  The felt on the bottom lends itself to that theory too.  I don't know for sure, just guessing.

Hi Mike.  Yes, the 2nd. and 3rd. pictures.

Hey Skully so you have both of those pictured?    I would love to see a picture of your Frank statue.

This was something he always loved showing me. It was laying on its back in a glass case. He would always say dont wake him up.

Your Uncle sounded very cool.   I think its wild he had him laying down the whole time, I wonder why?   Do you currently have him standing up?
I think the paint job is really really cool, those big monster eyebrows are the best

You're not likely to get an answer. Soon 180 hasn't been back since posting these few messages.

OH Man!  Sorry to hear he doesn't visit anymore.   Any chance don't get this thread going again?  Thanks for answering me back too, appreciated.

You have gotten it going again.

Don't expect a reply from skully though. Because the webhosting service UMA employs has not taken the trouble to keep its security certificate current, posters such as skully and horrorhunter have been unable to log into this site because their anti-virus protection (McAfee?) refuses to allow them to do so.

 :(

no Skully and HorrorHunter?   Those are some of my favorite posters along with you Hepcat and Mike Scott (GREAT SCOTT).

I wish it was easier to post pics on here because that is most of the pleasure for me, visual.

Sorry about the type-o earlier, I indeed meant get this thread going again.  LOL

I wonder if you guys know about the facebook page Vintage Monster Toys.   I recognized some of the UMA members from here on that FB page now.   Bobby Beeman and my ol' pal Raymond C. along with some others.  Care to join us?

Horrorhunter after nearly sixteen months of futility and frustration just managed to post yesterday! I'll inform Skully. Maybe he'll succeed now as well.

Actually many of us here regard Facebook as "The Enemy".

I just weighed the pros and cons and there are too many cons.

I guess some people are dazzled by "the new thing"? The old thing is fine with me.

Horrorhunter after nearly sixteen months of futility and frustration...
A bit of dramatization there.

I am glad to be able to post again though.

The trick to UMA, or any message board, is not to be obsessive about it. I know die-hard UMA members want more people to post but if you overdo it then it can lead to frustration, arguments, and hurt feelings. Take it easy and have fun with it. If it becomes more hassle than fun then do something else for awhile. Chill.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

I am in that group and post there once in a while under my real name. Look for John Fincher and say hey if you see me.
