Well for starters, the narrator's reading is different, they reveal the Collections titles in text form instead of showing the covers, the ending is longer and reveals more about their promotion

I noticed that. I just thought you meant something like an alternate take or something. The marketing info was very interesting, though.

Well it is the first time I saw a CC promo WITHOUT the '90s Monster crest which they usually showed at the end so that was kinda odd. Interesting to see clips from Invisible Man and The Mummy which they usually didnt.

I wonder where these were shown. Maybe on a promo tape sent to video stores back then?

Uploader says he got it from a screening copy of Psycho IV The Beginning

That makes sense. I used to get stuff like that when I worked at a music/video store (remember those?).

Found this nice copy of the Murders in the Rue Morgue artwork on some Russian movie site. Not much different than the one I have but its slightly wider. I was gonna ask the uploader if he had it logo free but it of course is one of those sites where they have to send you an email to activate your account and of course I've received no email! Errr!

This is just a random post but I have noticed that, so far, The Invisible Man films are the only ones that I have artworks for the original film and its sequels (He also makes a cameo in A&C meet Frankenstein and I even have that artwork).

Yep, that's the only complete set. Unless you want to count the 4 A&C Meet The Monsters films as a set? The art on those are some of my favorites!  :)

Good point. I would consider the A&C Monster films as complete! Good looking Mike! :)

I would probably add "Meet the Killer - Boris Karloff". No monsters, but a fun film.

I wish I still had it but about 12 or 13 years ago we got a video catalog in the mail (might have been Movies Unlimited, not sure. I remember there was an image from Some Like It Hot on the cover) which had an Abbott & Costello Monsters VHS set. It wasn't the same set released around 2000. This set had the tapes from the early 1990's and also had Meet The Killer Boris Karloff!

Was it a black & white cover with a grey and white portrait of A & C?

No that was the set that was released circa 2000 that I had mentioned.
