Universal Monsters VHS Artworks
« on: November 17, 2014, 11:06:17 PM »
As I'm sure most of you know I already had a thread where I posted most of these but for some reason many of them are not showing now. Rather than simply repost, I decided to make a new thread so its a little more organized. Sorry that they disappeared before. Don't know how that happened. When I find time I'll restore the links to the old thread. For those who haven't seen the original thread here I share the art works used on the Universal Monster VHS releases. If anyone has more to add feel free to post!

Frankenstein (1931, 1986 VHS & Laserdisc)

Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932)

I'm currently updating some of these but figured I'd share what I have at the moment since I had shared these in the old thread but of course are not showing now. These are my fan made BluRay covers which feature the VHS artworks instead of the original posters. I left the back covers untouched from the actual BluRay covers. Dracula is an update while Frankenstein is a new addition. Incase the images don't show a link is provided which should work.

Beautiful work, Criss. I might go out &  buy a bunch of blank Blu-ray cases to give my collection a make-over. Thanks, again.

I remember the VHS artworks when I was a kid at my grandparents house and they were big in to the Universal Monsters and I saw all the awesome VHS covers. This was when DVDs where popular before blue rays.

"Spectacular price of $14.99 each"? And we complain about the price of that 31 movie boxed set.
