Watched a couple of episodes last night. Really great. Brings back memories of Horror in the 80's when it was really good. Very well done. And as always Bruce Campbell is awesome.

Season 2 stated a couple of weeks ago and it is awesome. Gore galore and plenty of action right out of the gate. ;D

Wow, episode 2 was epic and anyone who saw it will know what I'm talking about. The morgue scene was so over the top my girlfriend and I were laughing out loud! Great stuff!! I'm starting to like this series as much as the Walking Dead!

Anyone else watching this show? It is insane is a good way. I just finished the latest episode season 3, ep 2. This show has done some crazy stuff, but I couldn't believe what I was watching in this episode. ;D This show is very entertaining and filled with some of the craziest gore ever. All while having some overlapping humor. ;D

The first Evil Dead scared the poop out of me. Everything since then hasn't interested me much.  :'(

The first Evil Dead is a truly terrifying film. Fantastic special effects and make up with a great story. I enjoyed the whole series. However, that first one had a raw and truly disturbing feel to it.

Agreed. I was 13 years old and watched that thing on a top loader vhs with my granny. She wanted to watch it...but not alone. I wound up spending the night at her place because it was dark when the film finished and I was too scared to ride my bike home, lol.

Yes, I think I also saw it when I was around that age on top loading vcr. It was a unique film. A different take on zombie like characters.

I've only watched the first episode of this season so far.  Looking forward to seeing where the season progresses.  I think my daughter loves the show more than me, she rewatched Season 1 & 2 recently in prep for the 3rd.

Just watched the last episode and it was fantastic. This show is so much fun. Great special effects, gore galore with funny lines thrown in. Getting back to the effects, the Deadites always look great, but they are really amazing this season.

I've had a love/hate relationship with this show through the first two seasons. It's entertaining, but rarely did it evoke the same feeling I get when watching the movies. My biggest complaint going into season three was the complete flanderization of Ash's character. They took the Army of Darkness version of Ash and ramped it up to eleven. My other complaint deals with the lack of point, purpose or anything resembling a coherent story.

And I'm happy to see that Season three has vastly improved in these areas. Ash's daughter has done more to flesh Ash's character out than anything we've seen so far. There are character arcs, plot lines and what feels like a gradual build up towards something. This season is also featuring more practical effects. The acting is better, the dialogue, snappier and my interest as high as it's ever been...

...too bad this will probably be it's last season, right when it was getting good.
