I finally watched Supergirl pilot. I liked it. I'll stick w/hit for a while if they keep it running.

Constantine making an appearance on Arrow this week. That's really cool IMO. I wish NBC would have given Constantine more time.

King Shark made an appearance on the Flash last week. I'm super stoked about that. KS one of my fav DC monsters.

I thought the DC shows were pretty stellar this Fall. I'm enjoying Supergirl so far. I really liked the Red Tornado and Martian Manhunter appearances. The Flash and Arrow crossovers were pretty epic too. Awesome appearances by Hawkman and Hawkgirl. I thought Gotham started off slow, but I like how the half season finished up. The Constantine and King Shark appearances on Arrow and Flash def my favorite moments though.

I really like Supergirl. Melissa Benoist is perfect casting. She makes the show for me.

I think Supergirl is getting pretty good. I really dig that Martian Manhunter is in there. None of my students seem to be watching it, so I wonder about ratings. These are the same kids that watch Flash, Arrow and all the Marvel tv shows.

Anyone watch "Legends of Tomorrow" yet? I think it's a lot of fun. Captain Cold and Heat Wave steal the show imo. I hear Sgt. Rock, The Sandman and Jonah Hex will appear too. Pretty sweet.

*Spoiler alert: did you see Amanda Waller get whacked on Arrow? You know my conspiracy theory: WB told Arrow and Flash to lay off characters from the DC cinematic universe. So they whacked Deadshot and now Waller. I bet you won't see Captain Boomerang or Katana anymore. And what happened to Deathstroke???

Legends of Tomorrow needs better writing but the giant fight scenes are pretty cool

I see there is confirmation that FLASH and SUPERGIRL have a get-together somewhere in the near future.

This must be a Earth 2 (alternate universe) thing?!  How is it that no one on Flash has ever mentioned Superman flying around Metropolis before?  I doubt he has ever been brought up on Arrow either and sure he won't be mentioned on Legends of Tomorrow; either make it a shared Universe from the get go or don't try to combine it down the road if it doesn't make sense.

I'm all for this if they can pull it off. But as you point out, finessing the story line is going to be challenging. When you look at the "Arrowverse," they've acknowledged meta-humans, the supernatural, time travel and the multiverse. So it seems inconceivable they would not have mentioned the existence of extra terrestrials like Superman and Supergirl.  Flash  is traveling to Earth 2 next week, so maybe that's the setup. Note that on last week's Legends of Tomorrow, Rip Hunter mentioned "men of steel" and "dark knights."

Btw: there was a wrinkle in my conspiracy theory last week on Arrow. Katana made a brief appearance. So she's not dead at least, but we'll see how often they show her.

It would have to be another alternate Earth as Earth 2 's fashion is 1940's style and Supergirl is set in our universe or at least one that mirrors it.

Did you watch Flash this week? Very cool Supergirl cameo. Overall the Earth 2 episode was a lot of fun. I see what you mean though, there's no way Supergirl and National City are on Earth 2. It has to be another Earth.

By the way, here's my prediction regarding the cemetery scene with Arrow and Flash: I think Oliver's baby mama is gonna get whacked. I can't imagine they would kill his little boy, so prob gonna be the mom. Then Oliver and Felicity will raise the child in upcoming seasons. Could be wrong of course.

The Flash was great last week. King Shark is so gnarly, I'd like to see more of him, both on page and on screen. After Swamp Thing, King Shark def my favorite monster in DC universe.

So Zoom finally revealed himself. I'm guessing he's actually from Earth One. Any thoughts?

Gotham back on this Monday.

Anyone watching CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths? It's pretty rad. It's the annual CW cross-over episodes, so you have all the Arrowverse characters: Green Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Superman, Batwoman, and the Legends of Tomorrow.

But what's really cool is they mixed some old school DC shows. Tom Welling makes an appearance as Clark Kent from Smallville. Burt Ward has cameo as Robin. Brandon Routh revisits his Superman character from Superman Returns. John Wesley Shipp plays the 1990s version of the Flash again. Tom Ellis as Lucifer from Netlifx made a cameo (that was my favorite one). Robin from DC's streaming show "Titans" was in a scene.

Pretty ambitious and cool.

Arrowvese getting into more and more horror stuff. Not only did  Lucifer and John Constantine share a scene, Jim Corrigan as the Spectre made an appearance. Looks like Oliver Queen may become the new Spectre.

The current crossover got me interested in re-reading the original comics. I still marvel at George Perez’s ability to draw a multitude of panels and characters in the limited space of a comics page. As for the show, I’m traveling in the month of January, so I’ll miss the last two episodes , but I enjoyed the work and the care put into the parts aired so far. I wasn’t as fond of the two after show segments. Kevin Smith is entertaining, but I thought he was  a little too over the top as the show’s host. The short actor segments were interesting, however it would have been more appealing to me to see Marv Wolfman and George P. Talking about the series.

I’ve followed all the CW’s DC shows on and off for the last couple of years and am binge watching Doom Patrol this week. I’m hoping for a Swamp Thing  dvd soon as I’d like to see what they did with the character in the latest live incarnation.
