I think we're all looking forward to the pics, Glenn. Any idea when your mask will arrive?

Just got through discussing color scheme, etc. with Dr. Lady and sent payment. I told him no rush as I want it to be the best it can be and he probably has other masks in line ahead of me so I'd expect at least 2 or 3 weeks?

That was the exact same thing I was about to ask you. What color scheme are you going with? I would have a hard time with that one. You could go with the extreme green with red lips (like all the iconic sixties art - Famous Monsters covers, Aurora Big Frankie, etc.). Then you could go with a more subtle, realistic look (more of a pale grey with blue or green shading). Very hard choice.

This mask has been on my want list for awhile so I've had plenty of time to think about it. I'm going with the gray color scheme with a hint of blue/purple. Overall going for a corpse gray. This is the reference photo I provided him which I got from Pete Infelise's site and even he doesn't know who did this mask. I also love the shade of red used for the scars on this mask as well. I love this paint up.

I was hoping you were going to say that. Green is ok, but a little clichéd. This is the definitive look, IMO. It's exactly how I would have had it done.

Saw this post on another site from Lee posted on 7/27/2015 and thought people wanting the collectors edition would like to know. Hopefully Lee won't mind.

I have another bit of information regarding the book and pre-orders. The copies with the latex slipcover will be limited to 250 copies. Only 100 will be available for pre-order and the remaining 150 will be made available at the Don-Con launch event.

Thanks monstroza! It's one of the nicest Pat Newman GS Frank paint and hair work I've ever seen. Out of curiosity how did you know who did the work on this mask?

I'm also known as Vxx. The photo was taken by me for the guy I did the work for. Not sure how it got posted elsewhere.

That's right. I didn't put 2 and 2 together.  :) Excellent work! I got the pic from Pete Ifelise's monster mask blog here:

http://monstermasks.blogspot.com/search?q=glenn+strange+frankenstein

Pete is a good guy and mentions that he will either credit people for their pics or remove the pic from his site if you prefer. You may want to let him know you did the work so he can credit you.

Thanks. I don't mind him using the pic. Most of the mask work I did is lost by time now anyway.

That's a shame because you clearly have mad skills. I've seen some of your other work. Outstanding! Have you stopped doing masks?

WOW!! There are some real masterpieces here! I'm really blown away by these! I love your "Dead Weight" mask of the Fulci boat zombie. So many other great masks as well. I love all the retro type masks you've done. I almost bought one of your Retro Frank masks on eBay awhile back but I was outbid. These are really very special masks. Sorry to hear you've stopped making them. Thanks for sharing.

I have the VXX-FX Lagoon Monster, Vampire Girl and Horrible Melting Man. Latex versions of the famous Topstone masks. They're amongst my favorite masks that I own. The last one I want is the Mummy.
